Police Arrest Suspect In Murder At Denny?s Near Sports Authority Field At Mile High

DENVER (CBS4) ? Denver police have made an arrest in a murder at a Denny?s restaurant near Sports Authority Field at Mile High.

Taylor Bandy, 19, is in police custody. His photo hasn?t been released.

According to police, officers responded to a call about a vehicle with a bullet hole in the parking lot of the Denny?s located at 1605 Federal Boulevard just after 6:30 a.m. Sunday. When officers arrived they found a white GMC Yukon with a bullet hole in the driver?s side and the man dead in the driver?s seat.

Lt. Matt Murray with Denver police said Saturday night Denny?s employees saw a suspicious vehicle in the parking lot. It was there overnight. Employees decided to call police the next morning. Denny?s was open all night.

The victim?s identity hasn?t been released.
