We all know that Obama, Holder, and more recently Biden talk about the fat
cats on Wall Street, and after the fall-out from 2008, bragged that they
would take down the financial criminals. According to Obama, via Biden,
Republicans however, what to "unchain Wall Street".
It's all complete #$%$. Here are the facts -
According to the Government Accountability Institute, the Department of
Justice has not filed a single criminal charge against any top executive of an elite
financial institution.
Between 2002 and 2008, the Bush administration task force "obtained over
1,300 corporate fraud convictions, including those of over 130 corporate
vice presidents and over 200 CEOs and corporate presidents."
Even Bill Clinton's DOJ prosecuted "over 1,800 S&L (savings and loans)
executives, senior officials, and directors, and over 1,000 of them were
sent to jail".
Obama promised "more of the same" from his administration, especially in the
wake of the 2008 financial crisis.
Fast forward to today. Obama's/Holder's DOJ is stacked with attorneys,
including Eric Holder, from law firms representing the very same companies
involved in the financial meltdown of 2008, as well as financial coproation
with questionable actions during the Obama administration (AIG, Goldman
Sachs, Wells Fargo, J.P. Morgan Chase, Bank of America, CitiBank, Deutsche
Bank, ING, Morgan Stanley, U#$%$, Wilmington Trust, and John Corzine's MF
Global).
How many attempts at prosecution has the Obama team, who brag about
protecting America from Wall Street, had in nearly 4 years: ZERO. Not
convictions, but attempted convictions. They have done NOTHING!
Summary:
Bush - 1,300 convictions;
Clinton - 1,000 convictions;
Obama - Zero attempts.
Biden says the Romney and Ryan want to unchain Wall Street, when in fact
that has been exactly what Obama/Biden/Holder have done.
