Ugh, Conference-Go-Round: Maryland, Rutgers to possibly join Big 10 [Content Advisory: Sports]

Maryland was a charter member of the Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC) when it was formed in 1953. It?s kind of hard to imagine an ACC without the Terps (and those glorious times when they?d upset UNC and/or Duke in basketball).

But if they feel they must leave, then leave I suppose they must.

OTOH, the past barbs about it being the ?All-Carolina Conference? have been valid through the years.
